《別人的間房》
假如我們的人生就如同跑了一趟旅程,曾在某一段時間的某個城市中某一個宅處落腳,將我們自身的物件和記憶從這個家」吞吐到另一個「家」,這些停駐一段時光所建構出的「家」的位置,從這裏到那裏,究竟「家」的意義是我們只能暫居的這個水泥軀殼,還是在這個軀殼內我們曾經生活的日常影像?
在我試著回溯和造訪因為各種分離聚散的因由而搬移的所有暫時租賃的舊址,而這些既熟悉又陌生之屋,已然是「別人的房間」。
就像城市失去衛星定位的漂流地圖,影像分化著不同的時間軸,租賃的時間,當下的影像重塑,以及記憶的流淌。空氣中,瀰漫著一種的恍若夢境的既視感。
《A Room of One’s of Others》
If life is a journey that we took, when we stay in an accommodation in a city for a duration, when our belongings accompanied memories are swallowed in and spitted out from a HOME to another, the HOME that we built in the short stay at one place, from here to there, what exactly does HOME mean? Is it the concrete structure that contained us temporarily, or the images of daily life we experienced inside it?
I try to trace back and visit the places where I used to rent temporarily and had to move due to different kinds of gathering and separating reasons. To me, the rooms are familiar and yet unfamiliar, they are already “the rooms of others”.
It looks like a floating map of a city without global positioning system, images differentiated the time lines, the rented time, the re-built images of a particular piece of time, and the memories flowing in and out. In the air, we sense a déjà-vu as if seeing a dream.
《學校》
自我從種種碎裂的都市經驗中擷取了租賃過的「公寓」圖像後,再以「學校」這樣的建築單位,做為城市地表空間視覺經驗的佈署座標。這些彷若似曾相識,度量著城市生活日常景象的偽記憶圖像,同時也召喚與構築著關於 自身記憶的時光凝視。

有的時候,「原風景」就像喀答喀答響著的,曝光過度的18釐米影片一般映放著,那光束灰塵紛飛漫佈。
School
In the previous series, I selected the images of “apartments” I had rented before from my own pieces of urban experiences, in current series I decided to use “schools” as the architectural unit to set up the positions of visual experiences in the space of urban surface. The images of things that look familiar are actually the fake images of memories which measured the daily life scenes in the city, also called out for and built up the gazes of the times towards one’s own memories.

Sometimes, the clanging sound of the “original scenery” rings like the playing of over-exposed 18mm films, with the dusty air spreading under the light beams projected.
